There is a saying “Healthy Gut, Healthy Life” or “Gut is our
second brain”.
But why? Because our body works on a survival basis and if the
gut is not healthy, it immediately triggers stress hormones to indicate the brain
to take action for an unhealthy gut. That’s the reason, it's important to keep your
gut healthy.
But what makes our gut bad in the first place?
1. Wrong combinations of food.
Like fruits with tea, honey in tea, taking milk with salty food; often lead to indigestion as the body is unable to process the food properly.
2. Wrong timing of eating.
Ideally, we should eat according to the sun, eating during the daytime and fasting at night. Our sun controls our digestion!
3. Not taking probiotics.
I am not talking about those package drinks or tablets, start eating curd/dahi/yogurt with jaggery powder or honey in the mornings. It will help to cure indigestion and restore good bacteria in the gut.
4. Eating before 3 hours of bedtime.
While sleeping our body’s ability to digest decreases, often leading to indigestion.
